About The Colour Yellow

The Colour Yellow is a storytelling agency, a gatherer, producer and amplifier of feel good stories and provisions. 

Founder and CEO, Amelie Thuy Nguyen, collaborates with businesses and brands in strategic planning, marketing & public relations, creative direction, product development, community events, public speaking, and destination tours. 

Our collective of independent chefs, bartenders, photographers, cinematographers, copywriters, and graphic designers, together, create unique sensory experiences and stories that cultivate brand loyalty, joy (the colour yellow) and community.

FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Amelie Thuy Nguyễn

Amélie Thuy Nguyễn is a Vancouver-based consultant, creative and connector. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Montana and a Master of Public Health from the University of Melbourne. Amélie has worked in various countries and contexts, in private and nonprofits, including the World Health Organization and Government of BC.

Amélie has over 12 years of experience in health equity, population health, policy and community engagement. She is passionate to gather and amplify BIPOC stories through community collaborations and mixed-media.

Amélie's Storyhive-funded documentary short n 2018 - Mẹ (Mother) - screened in 14 festivals internationally and won two Best Short Documentary Awards. She is currently writing and directing docuseries Munchies to Michelin and advises on brand strategy, community engagement and product development for local brands in BC.

She is the Founder and Creative Director of The Colour Yellow and Co-founder of the beloved and award-winning Anh and Chi.
